Summary

The Enhancer dashboard is a free web application maintained as a hobby project by igorovh in Poland. It lets streamers and their channel teams manage chat badges and nickname styles, and lets project staff moderate them.

Account data

When you sign in, our login server confirms your identity with the platform you chose and tells the dashboard only what it needs: a stable identifier, your username, display name, and avatar. We store:

If you disconnect an identity or connect a new one, the stored record is updated accordingly.

Channel management data

Using the dashboard creates records tied to your account:

Channel membership, submitted content, and moderation records exist so channels can be managed and misconduct can be investigated. They are visible to the relevant channel team and to staff as needed for those purposes.

Public by design

Badge assignments and nickname styles are published to every user of the service: the extension needs the full list to render chat. Before assigning a badge or nickname to someone, or submitting one for yourself, assume every other user will see it. If something assigned to you should not be public, ask for its removal as described below.

Badge and nickname removal

You do not need a dashboard account to get a badge or nickname style removed.

Sign-in sessions and cookies

Staying signed in uses a strictly necessary session cookie:

Cookie Purpose Lifetime
enhancer_account_session Keeps you signed in to the dashboard 30 days, renewed while active

The cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and is Secure in production, so page scripts cannot read it. Our login server sets additional short-lived authentication cookies only while a sign-in is in progress. Signing out clears the dashboard session. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Infrastructure and providers

The dashboard runs on our own servers and uses a small set of providers to operate:

Provider Purpose What it handles
Cloudflare Network edge, DNS, caching, protection Connection metadata and IP addresses of requests to our domains
24fire Server hosting for the API, database, and cache Account records, assignments, and technical service data
Backblaze B2 Storage for badge images Badge image files and associated object metadata
Purelymail Email hosting Sender addresses, message contents, attachments, and email metadata
Twitch, Kick, Discord Sign-in and public profile lookups Login confirmations and public profile information

When you sign in with a platform, that platform processes the login under its own privacy information. We also use third-party AI tools for development and troubleshooting; when those tools are connected to our systems, records or diagnostic information containing personal data may be sent to their providers.

Why we process data

We process this information to run your account, let channel teams manage their content, keep the service secure, and answer messages and privacy requests.

We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the free service and its community features, balanced against the rights and reasonable expectations of the people concerned. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as handling data protection requests, we rely on that obligation. These grounds correspond to Article 6(1)(f) and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, respectively.

How long data is kept

Your account and its records remain until you ask us to delete them. Archiving or hiding an assignment removes it from display but does not delete the underlying record; erasure is a separate step described below. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up. Technical logs rotate on their own cycle.

Your rights

You can exercise these rights from your account page or by writing to [email protected]. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that a request concerns your data.

If you are a member of someone else's channel, deleting your account removes only your membership. If the owner of a channel you belong to deletes their account, you lose access to that channel when their grace period ends.

Children

The dashboard is not directed at children. Twitch, Kick, and Discord each set their own minimum age, and you should meet the requirement of the platform you use to sign in.
